Bank statement converter pricing: subscription vs pay-per-use

Most people convert bank statements in bursts: tax season, a loan application, a new client's catch-up. A monthly subscription charges you for the eleven months in between.

How converters charge

  • Monthly page allowance. A fixed number of pages per month for a monthly fee. Unused pages usually expire at the end of the month.
  • Free tier with a daily or monthly cap. Fine for a single page. Too small for a year of statements.
  • Pay-per-use credits. Buy credits once and spend them when you convert. No monthly bill. This is how Signavos works.

What one well-known converter charges (published prices, October 2026)

Professional$60/month1,000$0.06
Business$99/month4,000~$0.025

Prices change. Check the provider's own pricing page before you buy; these figures are dated so you can tell how fresh they are.

Per page, that's cheap if you convert hundreds of pages every month. If you convert twenty pages in April and nothing until next year, it's $30 for one month's use, or more if you forget to cancel.

What to compare besides price

  • Is the output checked? A cheap conversion with a silent error costs more than it saves. Look for a balance check on every page, not just "99% accurate" on the homepage. See how to check a conversion is accurate.
  • Formats. Excel and CSV are standard. QBO and OFX matter if the data is going into QuickBooks or Xero.
  • Duplicate uploads. Some tools charge again if you upload the same file twice.
  • Do credits expire? Monthly allowances reset; check how long bought credits last.
  • Privacy. Bank statements are about the most sensitive files you own. Check how long they are kept and who else processes them.

How Signavos prices it

  • No subscription. Conversions use the same credits as signatures. Buy a pack once and use it when you need it.
  • Free preview of the first rows and the balance result before you spend anything.
  • No charge for re-downloading a statement you already converted, or for pages that fail the balance check and cannot be fixed.
  • Deleted after 24 hours: uploads and outputs are removed automatically.

Credit packs and prices are on the pricing section. The same credits pay for electronic signatures.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free bank statement converter?
Several tools have a free tier capped at a few pages a day, and a chatbot can handle a page or two. For a full year of statements you will hit the caps; check whatever you use against the printed balances. Signavos gives every new account one full conversion free.
Do Signavos credits expire?
Credits are valid for 12 months from purchase. There is no monthly reset that wipes out unused credits.
Can I use the same credits for signatures and statements?
Yes. One wallet, one balance, for both.
